    Born In Scotland In 1863, Charles Tindall Arrived In Australia In 1887. He Was Best Known For His Watercolour Paintings Of Sydney Harbour And Its Shipping And For His Landscapes Of The Australian Countryside. A Member Of The Royal Art Society And Foundation Member Of Australian Watercolour Institute, He Was An Early Member Of D H Souter's Sydney Brush Club (1888). His Works Are Represented In The Art Gallery Of New South Wales, The Mitchell Library And In Provincial Collections. He Died In 1951. Translation Of Wyreema : " Meeting Place Of Three Rivers" In Maori. Built By In 1908 By Alexander Stephen & Sons, Glasgow, The Steamship Wyreema Weighed 6,338 Tons With An Average Cruise Speed Of 17 Knots. She Was Owned By The Australasian United Steam Navigation Co, Melbourne And Was A Passenger Liner That Transported Nurses To Battle During World War I. She Is Reported To Have Run Down And Sunk Ss Currajong In 1910. Captain John Elliot Meaburn Was Captain Of The Ss Wyreema When It Collided With The Ss Currajong On 9 March 1910. The Ss Currajong Sank In Sydney Harbour And Is Now A Popular Diving Site. In 1926, She Was Sold To Brazil And Was Renamed Dom Pedro I.
