  An 1821 pattern sword
  the gilt brass hilt with Victorian cypher, the grip with checkered hardwood grip; the etched, proof marked and fullered blade by Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, etched with VR cypher and crest above the motto ‘Cresco Per Crucem’. Engraved to the back edge with number ‘13368’; in leather scabbard with brass mounts. Blade length 820.
