A 1786 pattern Infantry Officer’s sword
gilt brass hilt with silver twist wire grip; the broad single fullered blade with much original bluing and gilding and engraved with GR cypher and royal coat-of-arms; complete with leather and brass scabbard and with chamois lined waterproofed fabric bag. Blade length 825.
