  Paris, c.1685, with 19cm gilt metal dial with enamel hour cartouches supported by a gilt-metal trophy mount depicting prisoners and spoils-of-war, all to a plum velvet ground; the rectangular movement with baluster pillars, numbered outside count wheel, verge escapement, in scroll inlaid red tortoise shell, brass and pewter veneered case with squared columns supporting gilt Corinthian capitals, the hood surmounted by ormolu flaming urn finials. 585 x 345 x 150.
