• Lot Description:
  A Doulton stoneware kerosene lamp
  the oil reservoir with leaf decoration in green and scrolling florals around the rim in blue on brown, fits in the base, the top panel with inscribed decoration of rams and sheep in a field, probably by Hannah Barlow, each side with a horned demon’s head in relief, the column decorated with green and brown acanthus leaves, with a further motif to the spreading foot, in greens, browns and cobalt blues, some damage. Has later been electrified. 210 x 400.
