  Antique 18th/19th century Italian fruitwood & ivory inlaid marquetry cassone
  the panelled top figuring hunting scenes, flanked to each side by a putto on a foliate support, above a hinged lid opening to reveal a large compartment fitted with a small container to the side, the front centred by a scrolling armorial cartouche, the angles with caryatids' busts, decorated with four panels depicting episodes of "The Prodigal Son" tale within foliate surrounds, on paw feet, 160cm wide, 57cm deep, 116cm high (62.5" wide, 22" deep, 45.5" high).
