  KELLY GANG, JOE BYRNE ASSOCIATED, COLT 1851 NAVY PERCUSSION REVOLVER
  .36 Cal; 190mm (7½") barrel; clear one line New York address & Colt's patent to frame; faint cylinder scene; g. profiles; grey patina to barrel & frame; silver grey to cylinder; grips have been rubbed back; brass back strap & t/guard have been polished; all complete & matching; gwo & cond. The revolver comes in a civilian leather flap holster in poor cond.
• Provenance:
  A typed letter from Victoria Police, dated 1978, claiming this revolver was used by Joe Byrne & came from the Greta West Victoria property of Mr Paddy Griffiths, the oldest surviving, close relative of Ned Kelly.
