  CASED H. DEANE & SON WEDGE FRAME PERCUSSION REVOLVER
  54 bore; 5 shot cylinder struck with London proofs; 153mm (6") oct barrel with top strap marked H.DEANE & SON 30 KING WILLIAM STREET LONDON BRIDGE & lhs of barrel fitted with loading lever; plain borderline engraved frame with lhs marked PATENT & patent number; arbour secured by wedge; g. profiles & clear markings; soft grey patina to barrel, frame, cylinder & fittings; g. orig chequered walnut grips; all complete; gwo. Presented in its orig screw top lid oak case with vacant rnd lid escutcheon; with an old, (reproduction?) trade label of Deane Adams & Deane Gun Makers; partitioned & lined in green baize with cleaning rod, nipple wrench, powder flask, pincer mould & modern pewter oil bottle.
