HOLLIS & SONS; fitted with an under lever action; g. profiles & clear markings; soft brown finish to barrels, action & fittings; f to g orig stock with even wear to chequered wrist & forend; rhs of butt marked G F (Gold Fields); lhs marked VP in 2 places & GF 75; all complete; gwo & cond. -
Notes:I believe these types of shotguns were used for Gold escort duties from the gold fields to Melbourne in the Gold rush period. #H295CB L/R
