  653 smooth bore; 20" barrel; std rear sights for this model; captive r.rod, saddle ring & bar fitted; lock plate marked ROYAL CYPHER VR over TOWER 1847; mellow brass regulation furniture of the period with a downward extension to the t/guard; soft brown patina to barrel, lock, hammer & fittings; g. profiles & clear markings; g. orig stock with minor bruises & scratches, BO á lightly marked to rhs of butt; butt tang marked D over 2 (possibly a Police District); all complete with snap cap & chain; t/guard extension has a sml crack at the screw o/w gwo & vg cond.
