  577 Cal; 21" damascus rifled barrel; f. bore; std front & rear sights; plain borderline engraved lock marked WILKINSON; mellow finish to brass regulation furniture of the period with D over 46 VC (Victorian Constabulary, Castlemaine district) g. profiles & clear markings; soft grey patina to barrel, lock, hammer & fittings; g orig stock with minor bruises; all complete with captive rammer, swivel missing from butt o/w all complete vgwo & cond. A scarce carbine for the Colonial collector.
