  50-70 Cal; 32½" barrel; f to g bore; std front & rear sights; lock plate marked 1863 with eagle motif & US SPRINGFIELD; breech marked 1869 & eagle’s head over crossed arrows & US; iron regulation furniture of the period; US stamped to butt tang; g. profiles & clear markings; silver grey patina to barrel, lock & fittings; several areas of dark pitting to the barrel, t/guard & butt plate; f. stock with old arsenal repair to wrist which has been cracked; all complete with swivels, rod & socket bayonet, n/s; gwo & f. cond.
