  PAIR OF CONTINENTAL FULL STOCKED FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS
  25 bore; 12" iron swamped barrels; flat lock plates chisel engraved in relief with a stag at bay, trophies, flags, cannon & uniformed man pointing a pistol; swan necked cocks & detached pan fitted; v. ornate, mellow brass furniture with eared butt caps & intricate skeleton side plates; g. profiles & sharp engraving; all complete; g. stocks with horn nose caps & damage to lock surrounds of both pistols, one pistol has a couple of aged cracks at the muzzle o/w gwo & g. cond. C.1740.
