Lot Description:ENGLISH S/B FULL STOCKED FLINTLOCK GREAT COAT PISTOL
650 Cal; 5" rnd 2 stage swamped barrel struck with London proofs; foliate engraved banana shaped lock marked SAML LOVE; fitted with a swan necked cock & detached pan; mellow finish to skeleton serpentine side plate brass t/guard & butt cap; soft grey patina to barrel with areas of v. fine pitting; g. profiles, clear markings & engraving; g. orig stock with minor bruising & period repair to heel of lock surround; all complete; gwo & cond. C.1700. -
