  50 Cal; 3½" rnd barrel with decoration to the muzzle & struck with Birmingham proofs; foliate engraved frame with SMITH in a banner to lhs; g. profiles & clear markings; untouched grey finish to barrel, frame & fittings; vg chequered bag shaped walnut grips with oval escutcheon to wrist; gwo & cond. As found, would grade up. C.1850.
