  AUSTRIAN MOD.1889 STATE OFFICIAL'S SWORD
  30" blade retaining 80% orig nickel finish with main losses to the ricasso, single fullers & by Weyersberg Solingen; elaborate gilt brass hilt features the dbl headed eagle of the Astro-Hungarian Royal Family; vg fish skin grips bound with woven brass wire; leaf pattern decoration to back edge; 30% of gilt finish remains to hilt & back pc; complete with f. cond, correct scabbard with the embossed Royal Cypher of Emperor Franz Josef I on the locket; scabbard missing the leather outer covering. A scarce sword, slightly down in cond.
