Lot Description:An old Chinese red and plain finely carved ivory chess set
complete with 32 pieces, the emperor and warrior figures carved in costumes representing the empire of the Ming and Qing, the bishops as elephants, the knights on horseback, minor damage. Displayed on a mahogany stand under a glass dome. -
