  Important bowie knife, steel blade with old
  judge stamp inscribed "Sharpe Justice" staghorn handle carrying the engraved message "A Gift From All Ranks, 55 Regt. of Foot To Capt. R.F. Flexon, Master of the "Leopard" July 1855. Mounts of nickle silver with German silver crossbar in fitted case.

  This knife comes with book in which it was described and illustrated, the book is "In Defence of Lives & Property, The Weapons Used in Australia in The Wild Colonial Days" by Edgar F. Penzig Ltd. De Luxe edition. No. 47/100. Signed by the author, complete with slip case. Note: This weapon is illustrated on pg 84 & pg 11. This is the first time offered since purchased in 1978
