  Early Taiaha
  A well-carved head with ovoid raised eyes. Strongly carved nose and upper lip; tongue is beautifully executed and terminates in a sharp tip. Short strike blade is finely balanced and completed with broad, round-form tip. Soft, red-brown patina.
