  Heavily Sawn Giant Pounamu Slab
  A superb example of the scale of labour undertaken by the early pre-European Maori master craftsmen. This example is uncompleted and represents phase three in the manufacture of a Toki Pou Tangata. The top face is flat and smoothly polished. A medium-light pounamu (nephrite).
