        Lot Description:A Rare 18th Century Meissen Armorial Pickle Dish
 from the Swan service. Finely painted floral sprays and an amorial crest around a low relief pattern of moulded swans. Together with a porcelain handled fork with matching armorial crest. Blue mark, c.1740. The Swan service was ordered in 1736 for the director of the Meissen factory , Heinrich Graf von Bruhl. Almost every piece is painted with the marriage arms of Bruhl and his wife Maria Anna Franziska von Kolowrat-Krakowska, who married in 1734. The service originally comprised of over 2,200 pieces.
