Lot Description:A N.Z. colonial gilded 9ct. yellow gold mounted kiwi beak brooch
the large cap and strap mounts with scroll engraved decoration and shaped borders, original steel pin to the reverse, fine gold chain links hang below connecting to each mount. Length 130. Together with a print of a double portrait photo, c.1900, the woman is wearing this kiwi beak brooch, in a kauri chip carved frame. -
