  the decorative pie crust rim with gadroon floral scroll decoration, the ornate framed contemporary cartouche crested with a standing lion enclosing a further standing lion partially covered with a cross decorated shield form, raised on three ball and claw feet. London 1781 by John Crouch I & Thomas Hannan. Weight 338gms. Diameter 190.
