  A good Victorian silver ink stand
  the fancy oval stand with wide concave pierced and engraved scroll panelled border, bead rim, scroll ends, raised on decorative lion’s paw feet with flared scroll and rosette mounts, the central section with two fitted original cut crystal ink bottles, plain hinged lid to each, framing the central tall tapered candlestick with plain reed detail and stiff leaf design towards the pedestal base. Birmingham 1861 by Hirons & Plante. Length 290.
