Lot Description:Ten 19thC New Zealand historical documents/land deeds
includes land grant to William Delamore of Shortland Miner, 1874, signed by James Fitzgerald as governor, others including Waipipi 1879, another signed by Sir James Fergusson 1874, another four an Allotment of Land, ‘Lower Queen Street’, signed by Frederick Whitaker, N.Z. Premier c.1863/64, this deed dated 1842, another signed by Sir Thomas Gore Browne, appointed Governor of N.Z. in 1855, his handling of Maori land issues were a contributing factor in the outbreak of the first Taranaki war, etc. -
