    from the Year 1807 to the Year 1814, London, John Murray, 1828-1840, 6 Volumes, engraved battle plans, bound by Riviere, full polished tan calf, raised bands, spine labels (some loss), gilt decorated spines, marbled endpapers & edges, front board of Volume 1 detached, joints worn, foxing, bound in Volume 1 is three pages of handwritten notes titled 'From some notes written down by M General Sir Fred Ponsonby' Sir Frederick Ponsonby served in the Peninsular War & Waterloo, bookplate of Henry & Mary Ponsonby in each volume, Henry Ponsonby was the son of Sir Frederick Ponsonby and a British soldier and royal court official who served as Queen Victoria's Private Secretary, handsome set in a fine binding
