  1810 DUKE OF WELLINGTON Autograph Letter Signed
  four page handwritten letter from Celorico, Portugal, dated June 13th 1810, written to the British Ambassador in Lisbon, in the letter Wellington vents his irritation with the Portuguese Regency whose police regulation measures he considers insufficient. He comments on the difficulties of placing the second line of defenses on the Zezere because of the militias, he also mentions finances one of his principle occupations whilst in the Peninsular, laid paper, watermarked 1809
