Lot Description:A George III sterling silver meat platter with engraved armorial for the Duke of Cambridge, Paul Storr, London, 1808
engraved to the lip with the Duke of Cambridge armorial surrounded by a garter bearing the motto 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' ('Evil to him who evil thinks'), symbolising the Order of the Garter, and the initials 'AM' opposite and enclosed by a gadroon rim, hallmarked underside
