• Notes:
  The "family history" of this work is that was given to the vendor's brother in the 1970s by a James Mellen (sic) who claimed it was by Jackson Pollock, Mellen arrived in Australia in the late 1960s. It is claimed Mellen a geologist, actor & writer, who then moved to London. It is claimed he bought the work from a woman artist named Lee (sic), in Greenwich Village, NYC. The work has not been authenticated.
