after the Antique, signed 'B Boschetti Roma' on black and variegated rouge marble base, The Resting Satyr is one of the most prized ancient marbles in the Capitoline Museums (inv. no. 739) and is believed to be an ancient Roman copy of a Greek original attributed to Praxiteles
