Lot Description:A Royal Worcester vase and cover by Charles Baldwyn, circa 1906
of baluster shape having high set moulded acanthus handles, husk swags and stiff leaf motifs decorated in cream and coral colours picked out in gilt, decorated to the body with swans in flight through bulrushes upon a matt pale blue ground, a swallow to the reverse, signed C H Baldwyn lower left, puce backstamp underside, shape 1937
26cm high -
Notes:Condition: Please note that the cover is loose and not original to the vase. The condition of the item overall is is very good with just hints of gilding wear to the vase rim. There are a couple of spots of roughness to the internal rim of the lid which are probably manufacturing flaws as they appear as tiny rough craters not as chips or fleabites. One 'crater' also has a tiny raised section.
