• Notes:
  The residence Open Country at Murrumbeena was built in 1913 to Merric Boyd's design. In 1915 Merric married Doris and they had five children: Lucy, Arthur, Guy, David and Mary. Having established pottery studios in London and the south of France, David and Hermia based themselves at Murrumbeena upon their return to Australia in 1956.
