Lot Description:Two Fine Antique Geelvink Bay Bamboo Containers, with Rare Abstracted Ancestor Figures on One
These two very fine old bamboo containers were collected in the Geelvink bay area during WW2. I travelled in this area extensively in the early 1980s and I never saw a single artefact with this dancing figures like this but there are examples in early museum collections.
