            Notes:Condition: This item is in good sound condition. The mother-of-pearl inlay to the lid is in good condition. There is some fading or discoloration to the shell veneer to the left hand side of the lid. There is a loss of one decorative plaque below one of the hinges (reverse) and there is a tiny loss to the bottom right of the box. The ivory stringing and lid and base lining is in very good sound condition. The sewing accessories appear to be contemporary with the sewing box.
