• Notes:
  In 1991 Bob planned to produce a series of paintings known as the Exile paintings with the intention of staging an exhibition on the theme. The concept was based around people undergoing social injustice and the power and pride they displayed through their resilience to the world around them. The planned exhibition gave way instead to landscape painting, following a move to the Noosa Hinterland. Bob kept this work in his studio as it was a concept he had always planned to revisit - children in isolation being one of the hallmarks of his signature style throughout his career.
