Lot Description:WW1 period, 9ct gold Hardy Bros Sydney "Trench" watch
made in in Switzerland by Baume & Co. Marked AB 9ct to the case and 9ct clasp to the rose gold bracelet. The bracelet is period and had an old solder repair. The 15 jewel mechanical movement is marked B&Co and working when tested. Approx case width 31, bracelet length 17cm, total item weight 40 grams. Engraved R.I.F. for Major R.I Furber DSO (Distinguished Service Order), 4th Australian Field Ambulance, 06 July 1917. -
