  hallmarked Birmingham, 1848, ES (Edward Smith), of shaped rectangular form, the hinged cover engraved with 'Presented By The//Members of the Rising Spring//Lodge No.727//P.G.Wm Aspinall//for 20 Years Services in the//I.O.F.M.U.//March 24th 1849,' surrounded by c-scroll and acanthus motifs, with thumbpiece, the base beautifully engraved with acanthus motifs, opening to a gilt interior, total weight 68gm, 1.5cm x 6.5cm x 4cm
