Lot Description:Märklin Gauge 1 Railway Swing Bridge
Imposing c.1905 bridge in five sections, with two piece heavily modelled embankments rising to a clockwork (functional) double arch girder rotating centre section. Motor is contained in a black lined blue box with a matching trigger box across the track. Bridge stops every 90 degrees. This bridge shows signs of damp storage with surface oxidisation, especially under the ramp modelling. Some paint losses and spotting. Two lamps missing from ramp end buttresses. L240cm (HR) -
