  An unusual mid-19thC silver pocket watch
  the ornate dial with gold Roman numerals and an encircling wreath, engraved floral medallion to the centre set with a tiny arched thermometer above a subsidiary seconds dial. The case marked ‘Fine Silver’ and engraved ‘T. Cornish, Adelaide’ (Aust. watchmaker c.1860).
