Notes:Kugler a American Geologist working in the Sepik area 1965-1967. Many of the artworks he field collected were loaned to the Museum of Primitive Art in NY & published in Crocodile & Cassowary by Douglas Newton the late curator of the MET Oceanic Art Department (Now the Rockefeller Wing of Oceanic Art at The Metropolitan Museum in NY).
