  (8 x 5.5cm), together with a London Emigration Committee sponsored facsimile broadside headed "Female Emigration to Australia" inviting applications from females between the ages of 15 to 30 of good character and for a payment of £5, to travel aboard the "David Scott" to start a new life in Australia (where pay rates for domestic employment were significantly higher); framed and glazed, overall 56 x 43cm, and also a framed & glazed facsimile of an 1840 "Ticket of Leave" for convict Thomas Beaton.
