• Notes:
  Kawinyji River is Beryline's name for Cattle Creek and she paints it as it branches off from Bow River. Cattle Creek forms the border between East Kimberley's Texas Downs and Lissadell Stations, where some years ago, at the 9 Mile Bore, just over the black limestone hills, the Aboriginal 'bushranger', 'Major', was shot by a police posse after a skirmish in which two white pastoralists were killed.
