An impressive late Victorian fiddleback parliamentary partner's desk, late 19th century, of rectangular form with 'D' ends, a black leather writing surface enclosed by vibrant fiddleback cross banding, pedestals with four drawers above a plinth base, the reverse with cupboards (doors absent) and the panelled sides with relief carved strapping and a stepped drop motif
