  A PORTRAIT POSTER OF CHAIRMAN MAO in green uniform against a red background with white border
  This is generally believed to be the earliest official portrait of Chairman Mao after the foundation of the People’s Republic of China. It carries a stamp in the lower right corner on the reverse which translates “Free copy given by the Editing and Publishing Unit, All-China Federation of Trade Unions”. Printed by Shanghai Xu Sheng Ji Printing Factory for Beijing Worker’s Publishing House. Not dated.
