Lot Description:Hand Built 1:24 Scale Model of the HMS BOUNTY
A fully rigged scale model built by veteran model maker Wayne Masters in 1993 as a special commission for the late Peter Pickles, Sydney. Built in Black Bean and Tasmanian Oak, of plank and frame construction, and fully fitted internally, all masts, blocks and tackles are hand made. Wayne Master's model ships are represented in a number of museums across Australia, notable amongst them the magnificent clipper, 'Lightning' in the National Maritime Museum.
