  of slight rectangular form, depicting a peacock amongst flowers, with geometric border, heavily embroidered with gold and silver thread, also in tones of pink and green, 21.5cm x 25cm

• Notes:
  Towards the end of the Qing Dynasty Badges were sold with the birds and the backgrounds separately. This was a very practical solution as when the person achieved a higher rank it was simply a matter of changing the bird.
