  [Melbourne, McCarron, Bird & Co, 1910] with introduction by W.H Lang; quarto, full morocco with gilt embossed board and spines, marbled endpapers with W.H. Lang’s personal (signed) bookplate adhered to front the front endpaper, abrasions to boards and spine, very good internal condition with bindings fully intact; xii + 497pp divided into 43 sections, with most pages illustrated.

  Volume 1 (Victoria) is the first in a series of 4 volumes published between 1910 and 1914 which recorded the largest and most opulent properties in Australia of the time, full of images of the properties, gardens, family and staff, livestock, machinery and views of the land.
