  suspended from a black silk band enhanced with an additional fob featuring a gold map of Australia and gold fittings. (approx.10gms). The fob engraved verso “Presented to SPR. G.J. SIMMONDS on his return from ACTIVE SERVICE by KOROIT FIRE BRIGADE 22nd Oct.1919.”
• Notes:
  Sapper Gordon James Simmonds had joined the 1st Reinforcements, 5th Division Field Company Engineers in November 1916.
