Lot Description:A Laotian silver footed bowl, early 20th century
with repousse decorated and alternating panels of the three-headed elephant (airavata) and deities, separated by elaborate floral scrolling and borders with foliate lotus leaf pattern. A silver plaque attached to the base bears the following text “La Grande Connetablie du Laos a la Confrerie des Chevaliers des Comtes de Nice et de Provence.”
