  French Flintlock Sporting Gun - Berthon-Perrin
  Attributed to Berthon-Perrin, Aix-en-Provence, recorded working 1800-1820. Gentleman's take down fowling flint lock with well carved dog's head stock. With MoP & horn inlaid eyes, silver collar marked 'Fly' & 'ER.' An almost identical example with percussion lock is in the Art Institute of Chicago. (L130cm)
